Brasserie de Silenrieux

The Belgian brewery was created in 1995 by Eric Bedoret on his parents farm in the South West of the Ardennes region. Since the farmers in Europe have many problems to survive, they try to find new ways to provide a fair income for their families.

Eric with the professors of Brewery department of the University of Louvain the two ancient beer recipes of high fermentation were elaborate: "Sara" and "Joseph".
In 2000, after jumping through all the hoops, the brewery started brewing the Sara and the Joseph CERTIFIED ORGANIC.
Besides the Sara and the Joseph, the Brasserie de Silenrieux brews on a seasonal basis also a honey-beer, called Biere de L’Ours, and an other special ale under the name Jean Vallois.
