Pours a deeply dark russet brown, topped with a super thick and frothy reddish-beige head that lasts forever... plus a light carbonation. Smell of ild prunes, red dates, lightly vinegary, red beans, faint touch of spice, sour cherries, raisins, cocoa, and burned brown sugar... all packed harmoniously in one sniff, even ringing a bell of fruit-cake!
Tastes sweet but smooth swallow of dark malts, black dates, red beans, raisins, treacles, sour-sweet chocolates and roasted malts leads towards a faintly licorice, spicy, dryish and semi-chewy bitterness of hops and yeasts with a clean and smooth finish.
