Pours a dull hazy copper with low to medium carbonation. Aroma is sweet stale old musty malts, oxidation, cardboard, toast, sweet maple syrup, soy, and fruity dates and raisins- more of an old barleywine than saison. Flavor is a bit less sweet although still crackery stale and oxidized fades into a stale old mildewy pool water, withs ome herbs and phenols, flat backbone and almost comes around tasting like a very old musty fantome at some points.
