Pours a dark ruby color that is almost black in the glass. An extremely complex aroma of dark fruit and caramel malt, with lesser aromas of chocolate, sherry wine and sloe gin. The dark fruit taste, sticky malts, chocolate, sherry and sloe gin flavors explode on the palate, and remain multi-dimensional through the finish, where some pleasant heat comes into play from the alcohol.
