A very dark brown hoppy beer, with hints of coffee , light Scotch-aftertaste, a nice body coming from the 4 different kinds of malt (one pale, two caramelised and one torrified malt). Even though the alcohol content is quite high, this beer is not too heavy and achieves a nice balance between the beery and the winy.
