Poured in the original De Bie glass a clear dark-brown red colored Stout with a small two fingers creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles.

Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, ripe dark fruits, raisins, plums, spicy, licorice and an increasing sourness. The flavour is toasted malts, dark fruits, raisins and dark berries, brown sugar, spicy, licorice added to a pronounced sourness, sourish cherries. The mouthfeel is creamy and quite smooth. This medium bodied ale has a long sweet / sourish finish.
