Pours clear amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has a sharpish viniousness, caramel, light yeast, oats and malty sweetness. Medium carbonation, light oily palate. Sweet flavour, caramel, quite toasted.

Hazy amber, nice lacy head. Grainy-malty, dark-fruity nose with some banana-weizenbock character. Also flavor very (dark-)fruity with banana esters, yeast, and wheaty sourness. Quite foamy and very carbonated, but suits the style somehow. Warming. A pleasant surprise, breaking the traditional Belgian ale boundaries in the right way
