Pours dark amber/brown with a thick creamy two-finger beige head that retained forever and left very nice lace. Modest dark fruit aromas featuring dark cherries and plum as well as caramel, bread, earthy yeast, and alcohol. Flavors are similar, but the caramel malt is stronger up front with the dark fruits coming later. Delicate hops bitterness makes for a perfect balance. Full bodied, lively carbonation, creamy creamy smooth mouthfeel, and a warming alcohol flourish.
