The Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) is the pre-eminent showcase for premium beer and brewing excellence in the Asia Pacific Region. Entries are received from as far afield as Europe, USA and the Asia Pacific region, including China, Japan and Tonga and Australia.
Each year, an expert panel of judges (made up of industry representatives) gathers in Melbourne and Ballarat to judge beers in a variety of classes. In addition to awarding the coveted gold, silver and bronze medals in each class, judges award 16 prestigious Championship Trophies.
