The beer is very dark brown (near black) in color and poured with a finger high dense tan head that died down and left some lacing on the surface and a thick ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.

There are light to moderate aromas of chocolate in the nose along with hints of dark fruits. The taste is similar to the smell and has light flavors of chocolate and roasted malts with notes of dark fruits and a slight amount of bitterness. It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied on the palate and quite airy with a very high amount of carbonation. The beer is very easy to drink because it has a rather light body but is still quite flavorful.
