Who can ignore John Martins ale that our ancestors called the noblest of English Pale Ales. This unique beer is the fruit of truly exceptional craftsmanship, a unique technique whereby authentic Kent hop-bells are added after brewing.
Country: Belgium
Brewery: John Martin
Alcohol: 5.80  %
Served: 8-10  °C
Type: Ale, Pale Ale, Blond
Pours a deep deep amber with dense white head. Head did not hang around very long leaving a little lace as it falls away. Aromas of honey, caramel, treacle and just a hint of sourness. Good stuff. Flavour wise lots of initial sweetness with more of the toffee and caramel. Finish is reasonably bitter with some sourness. Medium to full mouthfeel.
