The main idea was to produce an ultimate gastronomic beer. A beer that perfectly pairs with great gastronomic Belgian food. All inspiration came from their underground cellars. Especially the flavours of 10 years old Kasteel Dark were inspiration of the brewer. An aged beer that developed those wonderful madeira and port flavours. It is exactly those aged flavours that had to be achieved with this new beer, and this was done with just a normal brewing process, without ageing.

Brugse Zot blond from Brewery De Halve Maan is available in the Beer Store
