Fragrant fruit aroma, peaches and apples, apricots. Nice. Cloudy gold with a low, fine head. Fruity, estery, sweet flavor, very malty, bready, slight tang. Refermented in the bottle.
Country: Belgium
Brewery: Brouwerij De Koninck
Alcohol: 8.00  %
Served: 8-10  °C
Type: Ale, Triple
The pour is a bright golden amber with a thick light off white head and a clouded body. Some lacing is left on the glass as the head dies quickly. on the nose there is a sweet and citrus note prominent with light toast malts and some ununsual chemical note. Tasting this beer, I was a bit apprehensive of that checmically note in the nose, but the taste is okay with like fruits of apricot and banada as well as a subtle malt and sweetness throughout. The alcohol is slightly noticable on the finish. The body is full with a slick mouthfeel.
