A Belgian beer with high creamy and long lasting off-white head. Clear very dark brown body. Cocoa caramel aroma. Slightly metallic roasted malt cocoa caramel flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.

In the dim light the beer shows a dark brown color with some reddish tints to it around the edges. The head is wispy and a tan color and it even leaves some lacing on the sides of my glass. The aroma is sourish with a mix of lactic and lighter acetic notes. There is a sweet malt backdrop as well as some supporting oxidized sherry aromatics here. Earthy, musty notes and an oxidized caramel maltiness adds some additional complexity to the nose.
