According to Mr. Bob Magerman: The beer colours dark goudbruin with a slightly reddish appearance. Fijnmazige foam has coloured light and stable. The fragrance is full, complex but balanced. Sourish is lacking but in the place one notices roasted, burned and sweet malt, completed with what spicy nootjes and preserved fruit. The taste starts lichtjes wrangig on the tongue but breaks open directly overflowing. Many hopbitter but also sticky sweet are not present. However, a broad spectrum to malt aromas and tastes is observe. These get the companionship of fresh to zwaarfruitige aromas all gestations remain present in the aftertaste but one feels move the heaviness point in the degustatie to the palate and the pharynx, which malts especially very from burned catches. For such a light beer is notable character also the alcoholic. With only 5.5 full. % alcohol tastes the Special novel particularly full. (The morning Aldente 10 January 2003)
