This beer has been brewed as a wish about brewing a sour beer, malty and with a balanced bitterness. The beer is brewed with cranberry. Cranberry has been used in brewing for hundred of years. Cranberry supply the beer with bitterness and sourness. Cranberry is still used as medicine – it has positive effect on infections. With this beer we wish to brew a beer good to food in situations where many people would find a bottle of wine. We have one more ambition: that people who use to drink ordinary beer, try to drink sour beer. Oak Aged Cranberry Bastard has a light sourness - very human compared to the wild fermented, Belgian styles. To round of the taste, the beer has been matured with oak. Oak Aged Cranberry Bastard is brewed like a belgian trappist beer, and we have used the same yeast that is well known from this style of beer. It gives the beer the fruity character.
One advice: become open for new impressions – including sour beer. Give it a chanche and try again, and again and.. We are some people that has been very critical, but now we are dependent. 8,2% ABV
