This Belgian beer pours dark brown with about an inch and a half tan head. Head retention is pretty good, with a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice and malty, the brew smells like dark fruit, brown sugar, toffee, smoked malt and chocolate. The taste is just like the aroma, but there’s also the addition of some nutmeg and coffee flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s coating with creamy carbonation. Drinkability is good, it’s very smooth and enjoyable.
