Pannepot 2010
Price: Not sold by PolyBEER
A ‘pannepot’ is a small fishing boat with distinctive batwing sails, typically found sailing close to the shore at De Panne when the fishing industry still dominated the northern Flemish harbours.
Country: Belgium
Brewery: De Struise Brouwers
Alcohol: 10.00  %
Served: 8-10  °C
Type: Ale, Strong Ale, Bruin, Artizanal
De Struise (Flemish for ‘sturdy’) is a young and often controversial company and the two ostriches in the company label are explained by the fact that, in addition to brewing, the owners also farm these birds further inland.

This Pannepot, which also forms the base beer for a Reserva edition, is quite sweet and has notes of raisins, apples, spices and chocolate.

Brugse Zot blond from Brewery De Halve Maan is available in the Beer Store
